Starting Juli 1st 2010 Nienke will be continuing the High Heel Workout by herself and Eline Ploeger, the sporty half of the founding mothers, is no longer part of the management. She will remain an instructor, so there's a chance you'll be seeing her when you book a class, or anyone else of our great instructors.

Please let me introduce myself. My name is Nienke van Maris.

In 2005 I started as an interior designer for a Dutch tv-programm, Woon & Klus Magazine, which was aired on sundaynights at RTL5. For this programm I (with my team) determined what all the interior were going to look like and everything that was made and built, from start to finish. After my first year I expanded my work to the tv-programm TuinMagazine, where I was co-responsible
for the designing of the gardens and the finishing touches in terms of styling.
Within one week after starting my job as an interior designer I was put in front of the camera and I became part of the tv-show Woon & Klus Magazine. I told our creative director that if I ever were to become famous, it would be because of my shoes. I own over 150 pairs of shoes, of which 90% consists of heels. High heels... More than once I was captured on camera, because it's always nice to capture a tiny girl in skyhigh stiletto's that walks around construction sites.
